I really didn’t like any of the wheel choices enough to pay for them, so went with the base silver wheel.
I actually liked the wheel itself, however not the cheep looking IMO silver painted finish. It may look Ok on some colors, but not Red,...
So decided to do something about it by having the wheels stripped and powder coated “hyper silver” with black metallic barrels, and machined edge similar to the black 5 spoke.
It’s a similar finish as the
HRE F11 “liquid metal” finish except this is power coated.
Looks MUCH better,..!

I totally agree with your wheel assessment, they came out incredible looking! How much did you spend modifying the stock weeks?
I just bought flow formed Forgelines in black pearl PVD powder coat process. Installing them this weekend.

It’s normally $540 for all 4 to strip and refinish which includes breaking, remounting and balancing. Not bad considering the cost of new wheels plus the cost of labor of installation.

yeah looks way better then stock color base wheels hell on delivery my corvette lettering on the wheel looked all discolored and yellowed and not good as well. did not look good.
