Early Feb allocation. October 23 build date. Arrived at dealer last night. Small town dealer with 2 original allocations. I had a handshake deal 3 years ago for the first one.
Best news...1K over invoice. MSRP 88+ and paid 83K.
I put 100 miles on
her today. PERFECT!! Worth the wait for all of you still waiting.
I envy you. My build date was Oct. 22 and I still don't have the car. Shipped on 10/26 to Michigan where it was put on a train to Selkirk, NY which left on 10/31. I live in a suburb of Syracuse and Selkirk (near Albany) is about 150 miles east of Syracuse so the train with my HTC went right by Syracuse. My dealer does not know when he is going to get it and we have a weekend in the low 70s going right into next Tuesday. Your car looks great and you certainly got a great deal. The best part is you have it and can drive it. It's hard for me to believe a delivery to Central New York could take so long as I received my Audi from Germany two weeks after it was built. I was able to even track the ship it was on all the way to Connecticut where it was offloaded. Well, the day is not over, so I'm still hoping> LOL!
I have been buying Corvettes from this small town (6000 people) dealer since 1984. We had a handshake deal when rumors of the mid engine were circulating 3 years ago. Invoice plus 1K. He stuck to his word (as always).
There are benefits living in a small town in flyover country.
Funny, until that country song talking about "flyover states" I had never heard that term, however some of the best places in the country to live in my opinion. Congratulations on the awesome car and great deal! Looks like you have some top down weather to enjoy in the next few days.

Well,
Just heard from my dealer. My car will be offloaded from the train in 2 or 3 days. The trucker should deliver it by next Wednesday or Thursday. I missed the good weather for top down driving, but at least I'll finally have it. Boy do I regret not doing the NCM delivery. I tried to add it right after the allocation acceptance, but no deal. Lesson learned. Cannot wait to join all of you folks who have yours.
