Help
Need to know the Tread Width of the Michelin All Season Sport Tire 245/35ZR19 and the 305/20R20, purchasing Flat Stoppers for winter storage. ( C-8 coming next year sometime ) Thanks

If youre asking how wide the tires are you pretty much answered your own question... 245mm and 305mm respectively.

No, those are section widths based on the design wheel width, not tread width.

Sorry I pulled the data for the 4S not the all season. See below for the all season.
8.6” front tread width
11.2” rear tread width.

245/25.4 = 9.64"
305/25.4 = 12.00"

That is what the tire designations mean--it is a simply conversion from millimetres into inches; and 25.4 is the only thing you have to remember.

Those are section widths, not tread widths. Two different measurements.

Section width is how wide the tire is.
Tread width is how wide the tread on the tire is.

These are very different things. Tire Rack has tables showing the values for different sizes of specific tires. Converting section width from metric does not magically give you tread width, which is why your numbers don't match the prior post.
