Stuff the frunk
While awaiting my 21 C8....my mind is spinning.....
Just thinking if we go for a drive and need the trunk space for luggage, will the top (if carefully placed in padded bag, LOL) fit in the frunk?
B It is designed to lock into the dedicated Latches in the Trunk.
C if you have that much stuff, leave the top on.
D life is always a compromise and choice unless ...

Frunk can hold a larger Pizza BUT will need a shelf!
Even though the Truck will hold 2 Golf Bags I fabricated what you see below. It comes part and stores in the Storage Net.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I'll likely be carrying the occasional sack of $hit (i.e. manure) home from the garden center in my C8 HTC "baby" and sometimes pulling my utility trailer with the hitch I'm going to have fabricated if I need to bring home even more crap. It's a car.

I have to agree with Ralph Nadar with his "unsafe at any speed" opinion of the Corvair. I remember when my buddy Kirk "attempted" a hard, fast left turn in his dad's Corvair in the mid-60's with me in the front passenger seat ,,, except that the U-joint on the steering shaft broke and we continued through the T intersection into a driveway. Gosh, we were lucky that driveway was there.
I just remembered that it was at that same T intersection that I found $105 laying on the roadway about 10 years ago. I slammed on the brakes when I saw what looked like money laying on the road, backed up and found a $100 and $5 bill along with an empty cigarette package. I guessed that someone reached into his shirt pocket and inadvertently threw away the money with the empty cigarette package. Even funnier, my father wanted to call the local small town radio station and ask them to ask their listeners if anyone had lost $105.
The C8 has a hair less total trunk space than a full size Lexus LS sedan I drove for 10 years. If the Lexus could easily carry enough luggage for four adults for week long trips, a C8 HTC should have enough space to carry what my wife and I need for month long trips.
For those who like to drive with the top off as much as possible, I see the C8 coupe being a local use car and the C8 HTC being the travel car.

Got to hand it to you...dragging out a SIXTY YEAR OLD design in an attempt to troll is brilliant. Sadly, it didn't work.

I loved my 66 Corsa, and wish I could find another.

I drove (and raced) my modified '67 Corvair very aggressively and never had or heard of a steering problem. And I had the Optional Quick Steering available that year along with every other HD option offered. Went to Plus 1 wheels and performance tires and many other mods! Great car.Ralph Nader proved many lawyers don't tell the whole truth (lie!) Said the '60 to '64 swing axle was made safe with a device sold by JC Whitney and quoted the info in their catalog. Never said the same device in the same ad was available for VW's and Porsche's! Also didn't say the main benefit listed was improved faster handling NOT safety! He also used the '65 through '69 Corvairs with their parallelogram rear suspension (like a Vette) to say GM changed it because they knew swing axles (used by a number of cars back in the day) was unsafe! All BS.
In fact the real issue was folks didn't know how to correct a high speed skid with a 60% rear weight car. Tadge said his Dad a military pilot and drove his Porsche of the era very aggressively. Said he knew all about excess Oversteer and "It was his biggest fear when they were designing the C8!" In fact was my concern as well because most FE Corvette owner's don't know what to do either! Fortunately GM was able to design the C8 with what Tadge said "Took Porsche decades to resolve with their 60+% rear heavy 911's!" He said they were actually able to design in some Understeer at the limit!
Pic of daughter sitting on my early Corvair! Pic below that is the same color as my '67 and had similar Plus1 Wheels and tires. I also added headers and other mods.
Not my '67 but the same OEM color ( had it repainted silver) and I had similar 14 inch wheels and low profile Continental 714 radial high performance tires! "Low Profile and Plus 1" were not words used back in the day!

I had a '64.
My auto shop teacher had a later model that he made mid-engine V8.
I had Baja Bug with a turbocharged Corvair engine. I could get the front wheels off the ground. I went through a lot of transaxles.
