C8 front bracket Plate
Has anyone who ordered your 2021 C8 told that it was mandatory for you to pay for the front license plate bracket? Mac Mulkin , Shae told me it was mandatory. I'm confused as this is an option and I have to pay for it. Has anyone run into this issue?

Added order guide info
It’s on my order, delivered to Texas where a front plate is required. But it doesn’t look like the extra $15 is included in the MSRP price listed on the workbench order, so maybe it’s considered as “standard equipment” and included for states that require it? Maybe you only get charged the $15 if you add it to your order in a state where it otherwise would not be included? Not sure, but it looks like I’m getting it at no additional cost.
I’m going to use the “Aero plate” location anyways, so the bracket will be in a box with other C8 parts (original floor mats, original splash guards, etc).
This is what the order guide says:
VK3 - License plate bracket, front
1 - Will be forced on orders with ship-to states that require
a front license plate.
