they look nice. Anyone know how they compare to the GM all-weather offering? I thought I saw that they make one.
Don’t know about GM mats/inserts but this is the third set of WeatherTech “mats” for my family, one in the family sedan (front & rear) and two in Corvettes (C6&8). My wife and I swear by them.

Hmm, have over 1000 miles and GM Weather Mats look fine. IF I had scuffs I'd use Meguiar's Ultimate Black. I had used that to make my 2014 GM Splash Guards look new when I removed and put them on my 2017 Grand Sport.
When the C8 arrived had water spots on the flat black surfaces in the engine compartment- as did many. Used Meguiar's Water Sport Remover then followed with two applications of Ultimate Black. Still looks great. You'll have to rub it in but can do that with a rag. If you try, let use know if it fixes your issue.
I have installed WeatherTech liners in every car and truck I've owned for years, probably since they started making them; I always get them for the front, rear and trunk. They are great but I can tell you first hand OEM liners in the C8 fit 100 % better, tighter and cover more area than any WeatherTech liner I've own.
