Anyone know how to remove the front cover where a license plate would go?

Thanks!

It can be pried out with some plastic trim tools.

It pops off if I remember. You can use a trim tool to wedge it off.

Or or you can mount your plate in front like I did

If you don't have the plastic trim tools, a flathead with some electric tape on the tip and a credit card will do the trick.
FYI
Once you get it off you will immediately notice there are no holes drilled back there. You are going to need a couple of self tapping screws.

i put a tinted cover over my front tag and the plate is barely noticeable, but it should prevent me from getting meter maid tickets.

I bought two different ones because I wasn't sure how dark I wanted.
Amazon Amazon

And

Amazon Amazon

I ended up going with the darker one on the front and left the rear uncovered entirely.
I gave the spares to a buddy who just got his c8.
The plate is definitely there, but the cover helps hide the stark white breaking up the clean nose.

I think you went too dark. All I see are black lines.

Which plate cover did you end up going with, the one in the 1st or 2nd Amazon link? Does the cover simply conform to the curve once tightened down? Thanks

I’m going with a mostly black plate. Hopefully it blends in.

Thank you for the great suggestions, I plan on putting my MN front plate on in the spring using the "Canadian" method.
