Corvette Order Number
Does anybody know how to decipher the order number given to you by the dealer? I am now at 3000 and waiting. When you call GM and asked them to check your status with your 6 digit code given to you by your dealer they can tell you your status level., your name and type of car you have order. and at what code level you currently you are at. I am guessing that this code has the following in it. (1) Your dealer (2) Type of vehicle you have order. (3) Your Name. Outside of what I noted does anybody have any more insight into your order number? I know we have a lot of smart people in this forum who can answer this questions. Thanks.

It doesn't decode like a VIN. It is the unique identifier for the order that the dealer has entered in to the production computer. I think that the first couple of digits may have meaning but I don't have a clue what that is.
