My garage isn't really big enough for a 2 post so I'm in the market for 4 post lift. Since the C8 is 76" wide and typical Bendpak lifts are 86", is a wider lift needed than the standard (5" clearance per side seems tight to me).
Anyone can recommend a 4 post lift? I'd like to make this happen in the next month or so.

I have been looking at the Bendpak HD-9 actually. My concern is the width of the car and fitting on the lift. The narrow lifts seem to be too small and I was wanting insight from someone who owns one.
I live in tidewater Virginia (Newport News / Yorktown area). (It's also in my profile now since I completed it finally)
Are you using it for storage or going to work on the car? Bendpak narrow 4 post is nice but they also have a quick lift set that is great and very portable.
Had a 4-post in my old house, and found it extremely useful for both additional storage, and "hobby" repairs.
Some things...
First, measure carefully for the cars you intend to park and work on... dimensions on a C8 vs a Triumph TR6 are significant... get dimensions from vendors...
Second, ceiling clearance is an issue... a typical 8' garage will probably not be high enough to store 2 cars.... also, and overhead door will interfere.... plan carefully.
Third, for maintenance, although a 4-post is not as convenient as a 2-post lift, unless you are running a "for-profit" shop, this is not meaningful.... you can put a car on jack stands, on a 4-post, and do almost anything...
Finally, a 4-post is inherently stable and safe for a typical home application.... as long as it fits, its pretty much "plug and play".

The narrow or standard have the same ramp widths, edge to edge, at 75.5".
I order the pans, casters, and the jack (recently sold the jack-wish I still had it)
You can also move the lift around the garage with a car already on the lift.
I've been taking my Corvettes on and off a4 post "Back Yard Buddy" for years with no issues. It alternates with my DD a Volvo XC90 which is 79" wide. No issues, though I do fold the mirrors before driving up (but not when I pull under it).
I have a 10.5' ceiling and also have a jack shaft mount garage door (Liftmaster) with the high mount track that gives almost 10' height with the door open. The garage was remodeled with the expectation of adding the lift years ago. I simply didn't have money for the lift at the time nor did I have the Corvette. I am planning on also purchasing drip trays and a cross jack as well. Budget is about $5k. I'm looking to do repairs as well as work on my cars on it. The Corvette is the largest car but I also have a Miata and a Firebird.
I picked up an Atlas lift from Greg Smith for $2000 and added the jack.
The lift is wide enough for my C8 , the Z06 tires hang off each side by 1 inch.
George Vee. I have an atlas lift can you drive the car up on the lift with the rolling jack in place? Do you just push it all the way forward and once the car is up you roll it where you need it?

The C8 clears the jack . I leave the jack in the middle of lift

Jazz, I have a Lift Super Store 8000# lift. The width of the drive on ramps is 74.5”, outside of ramp to outside of ramp. This width appears to be very close to the full track width, outside of tire to outside of tire, of a C8. It has a width of 94.5” from inside of post to inside of post. So a C8 with the mirrors folded in should not be a problem. I use mine primarily for storage and some work in a two car garage with a 16’ door. I also had to have the Liftmaster jack shaft lift installed and the tracks raised closer to the ceiling. My flat ceiling is 9.5’ and I can store two Corvettes, one over the other or a Corvette and a Porsche one over the other without a problem. I can also park a third car next to the lift. With your ceiling height you will have even more room than my garage. The only real suggestion I can give you is to buy the aluminum transition drive on ramps. They cost about $200 more than the stock ramps and your back will thank you. Also, we just air conditioned the garage and it made a HUGE improvement in there just to give you another idea.
