Auto Folding Mirrors?

I was reading though the owners manual and I still can't find the answer to my question...

I want the L/R mirrors to fold inward when I park the car and shut the engine off. Where do I tell the C8 to do this? I'm guessing it's an option in the setup, but I can't find a reference to it in the owners manual..

Yes it’s in the settings. Also note there is an option to flip down the passenger side mirror when you put the car in reverse.

There is a sticky where you can download the Owner's Manual in PDF...much easier to search when looking for something specific.8.5.5

Thanks.. (This was moved to page 99 in the 2021 Owners manual.)

Remote Mirror Folding When on, the outside mirrors will automatically fold or unfold when the lock or unlock on the remote key is pressed.

The downward tilting mirrors is also a neat feature when in reverse!

Unfortunately it seems you have to actually press the lock button on the fob. I wish they would fold in when it automatically locks as you walk away. I seldom get my key fob out of my pocket anymore.

When "On", they fold however the car is locked, via fob, via passive locking, etc. Likewise, the unfold however the car is unlocked.

When I drive forward into my garage, I want the passenger side to fold before I pull in. 3LT Can I fold the mirrors while still in Drive?

My mirrors are now folding when I walk away from the car... Go to Settings then Vehicle then enable passive locking...

I think you just need to push the button on the door, both mirrors will fold.

Yes, a simple push of the button and they fold in, a must for me when I pull into my garage, and they fold out when I pull out of my garage using the same button. This sure beats doing it manually on my previous C7.
