In the last year of ownership, I've been supper happy with everything the 1LT has except for visibility from the rear view mirror, especially at night. At night there is a reflection from the rear glass of the lights in the cockpit. Over time I'll be doing what I can to add the Digital rear view mirror. I purchased the camera housing which includes the camera for $140.00 I had the housing panel painted for $100.00 Next, and in time, I'll be working on what I need to connect the camera to the front of the vehicle. I'm open to any ideas and comments.

As long as GM hasn't done the same as BMW where you have to 'code' features into the car instead of the car auto-discovering the modules that are present then you may be on to something. Keep up the good work for us 1LT customers...Thx
p.s. Is there any power you can tap there? If yes maybe you could use an aftermarket wireless based mirror camera instead of the GM one.

I have no use for screens and menus......I think the people that designed the electronics this car are the same people that designed Windows 8..... people that do not know the difference between something that can be done and something that should be done....keep it simple stupid....KISS
