This is a silly silly silly take. IT MATTERS. Prime example could easily afford the fuel in my Ferrari, but when you drive it all the time and filling up every two days spending 200 a week for fuel becomes old. At some point you don't keep money if you think as this post acts, just cause you can afford something with ease doesn't mean you want to be wasteful.

Don't believe the readout for mpg in ANY car. Every one I have ever seen is optimistic. The only real way to KNOW is to track miles driven/gas bought. .. This assumes the the odometer is correct, which must also be checked for accuracy. ...

My Sprite (yeah, I know, OLD tech) had a 20% error on the speedo but a 15% error on odometer. .. Different tires/transmission/rear end than stock accounted for the error/ but why they differed from one another, I don't know. Every fill up tracked, and odometer error adjusted for until.... ... I got a GPS Speedo and now I at least get accurate readings. The measured fuel economy has NOT changed because I took the time to calibrate the old stock speedo.

YMMV
