Default Silver Flare

Well on a whim...I called GM Concierge....always very nice people to talk to.

My 21 Silver Flare is now at 3300. No TPW date but she thought they'd have that in the next couple of weeks.
Progress is progress...LOL

I'm hoping more of Silver Fare selectors are finding the same thing.

Sure would be a nice Xmas present to see that TPW date.

I called the Concierge on Wednesday. My silver flare HTC is still at 3000. It’s been sitting there since November 17th.

I'm curious....have you tried today?

I have the Coupe on order....wondering if the HTC AND the Silver Flare may be dictating the delay to 3300 status...

Where did you hear that? You can't just throw that out there without a verified source as you panic all of us waiting for an HTC!

I haven’t called today.

There was a thread on here stating that the two new colors for 2021 were being put at the back of the line and wouldn’t be produced until the third production run — whatever that means, hope it’s not February,. I’m not sure what paint color has do to with production order unless a color is on constraint, which I have not seen is the case with these two new colors.

My sales person thought I might get my HTC by the end of the year with my order going to 3000 in November. Obviously that ain’t happening.

I put my deposit down last December. At the time, I was number 14 out of 20 allocations the dealer had been allotted. With covid, I think the dealer only ended up with 10 Corvettes being delivered. Some folks have dropped out so I moved up to #2 on the list for a 2021.

VIN: M5100007 = retail sale, silver flare coupe, 2LT
VIN: M5000001 = show/special event, silver flare, conv., 3LT
Kerbeck has one silver flare with a 1/4/21 TPW
MacMulkin has three Red Mist with 1/4/21 TPW

Living here in upstate NY....winter is on...skiing is decent....
I keep telling my self it will be here when it's here. It's just nice to know it's moving along in the cue. ( it feels like I'm waiting in line for a great ride at Disney) LOL

Awesome to see Crazygirl you've got your SF AND your TPW date. In my mind I'd prefer a spring delivery due to the winter, salt ....etc here in NY but ANY day my baby shows up...it's gonna be a great day.

Still baffles me how we haven't seen some serious marketing pics of the SF.

Patience is a ....oh screw it.....

My Silver Flare HTC last week was 3000 with a TPW of Jan 18. As of this morning it is still at 3000 and the TPW is still Jan 18.

How can some of you be at 3300 with no TPW, and I am at 3000 WITH a TPW??? Strange?

My Silver Flare HTC order is still at the 1100 stage...meaning nowhere...lol! I am #67 on the dealers list and they are getting 46 for the first quarter (26 in Nov.10 in Dec. and 10 in Jan.) hopefully February or March my order should go in.

Nice contribution (and untrue, of course).

Hi
Just checked with concierge. Was at 3400 and probably built last week. No VIN though and it is to be coded in the system today at the next stage 3800 car is built. Originally ordered as a 2020 coupe Sept 11/19 and reordered as a 2021 HTC July 23/20.

Khartford.....nice to see some progress for Silver Flare builds.

I wonder all...is it possible that the GM paint gurus are still trying to determine the final silver flare paint mix...hmmmm....I mean really....where's that mercury color or their race car silver / grey blade flare / thingamabob color?

AND one more vent: There's no rhyme or rhythm to the coding process...DON'T they know we're all out here looking for just "reasonable" scraps of info.

I now have my anxiety mode on snooze....

Nice to hear from you all too...thanks
