SD Card Missing
Quite often when starting the car I get a message on the right side of the dash display saying SD Card Missing. (the SD card for the navigation). If i hit the NAV icon, it shows that there is not an SD card. Upon turning the car off and starting it again, all is fine. I have taken the card out of its center console slot and put it back in, but the problem still exists. Anyone else have this problem and, if so, have the solution?

I had this problem on my wife's 2020 XT4. Since it didn't happen all the time, I took a photo of the screen with the message and took the car to the dealer. They replaced the SD card and the problem has not reoccurred.

I have the same intermittent issue with mine. But since I only use waze I ignore it. I also get a message about the PDR not liking the speed of my other SD card even though I have the right one and it works great.

For the PDR SD card that’s a good idea. The OP is having issues with his NAV SD card in the center console. I would try removing and reinserting it again. If you keep having issues they may need to replace the NAV SD card or the card reader in the center console.

Coincidently, I have a 2019 XT4 and the missing SD card message came on last week after 18 months of ownership, it went away after the next start up, but will monitor it now and know what to tell my service guy if it happens again -thanks Zymurgy!
