Default Launch control problems

Has anyone else had this problem: I was using my launch control and everything was working as it should but then it started only revving up to 1,500 RPMs when going through the process, not 3,500. Later in the day I tried it again and the same thing happened, it worked fine for a while but then would only rev to 1,500. I haven't tried it anymore to see if it started working again but obviously there's a problem. Has anyone else had that type of problem? Does it sound like a problem with the ECU? I would question it being a user error other than it working fine for a while. It seems to but perfect outside of that.

Steering wheel has to be straight up centered but most likely what was mentioned about the brake. They say to try and push it through the floor.

I'm guessing not enough brake pressure also.

I definitely was pushing the brake hard enough because I know that's what they say but possibly not having the wheel completely straight. I'll give that a try.

100% not pushing the brakes hard enough. Same happened to me. You have to really push them hard to the floor.

Is there a limit switch or a pressure switch that senses that you have applied the brakes hard enough?

Not pushing the brake pedal hard enough has usually been the answer. This is what the manual says:

“The brake pedal must be firmly pressed to the floor, equivalent to a panic brake event.”

Several people have thought they were pressing the brake hard enough but turns out they were not.
