I don't believe the last line is correct. The dealer KNOWS what his January 2021 allocation is (and has known for many months). January 14th is when he can actually ORDER the cars he is allocated for January.
Then on January 21st, the dealers will receive their Feb/March/April allocations.
We do know how many January allocations we're getting but the 21st is when we can actually place the January orders. That's when we can move them from 1100 to 2000 status. Jan 14th is when the monthly dealer consensus starts. The consensus shows dealers the allocations for every model that they have coming for the remainder of January for ordering. Every dealer that has Corvette allocations for January will see those allocations on the Jan 14th consensus. Everything on the consensus can be pushed to 2000 on the 21st or 28th. For Corvette, it will likely be on the 21st.
We don't know exactly which day we will receive the new allocation guide for Feb-April.
Hope this makes sense.

been told that this isnt exactly true. Lots of tops dealers got their numbers but mid to smaller get word every month if they getting some or not.
This definitely makes sense, and explains why we get different explanations and experiences. It certainly checks out that the smaller dealers getting 5 or 6 a month are not as "guaranteed" of their monthly numbers as some of the larger volume guys.

Read the two posts above by Gearhead SS. Every dealer can access their Corvette allocations.
I'm not sure if anyone really understands this or not. Plus, maybe some dealerships move slower, idk. What I do know is that I received an email today saying that my order was picked up. Not sure if it was matched to a december allocation or a january. Not even sure if that matters anymore. +15 months from original order date!
just wanted to clarify my earlier post for the folks here: apparently "picked up" meant order status 3000. So, I guess that was a December allocation that went to 3000 on Jan 6th.
I placed an order on Saturday the 16th. It is a mid sized dealership. They told me they are expecting second quarter allocations in February. They "think" they are getting 5. One guy in line ahead of me. They said to expect about a 6 month wait.

Do dealers have numbers for Feb-April yet? I placed an order at a small dealership and they said I would be their first allocation for Feb. So that would make my allocation available to order on the 18th?

No, they do not. "early February" is the expectation.
