With winter tires and all the weight over the rear wheels the C8 is actually pretty solid in a snow storm. I drive mine 365 days a year in Toronto.

Well,

I got about 120 miles on it yesterday and the more important fact is that I went over 500 miles, now having 505 on the odometer. Had a lot of fun using the manual mode and paddle shifters on the hilly winding Route 20 here in upstate New York. Not as much fun was cleaning the splatter on it after the ride was done, but I had to do it and my wife helped. The rubber necking was hilarious. I had one bunch of gals pull up beside us and take pictures with their phones while in traffic in a multi lane area and several thumbs up from others. The sun never did come out, but my yellow HTC was hard not to notice anyway. I anxiously await the next opportunity. One thing is clear though. I won't be able to really push that accelerator until the weather warms up as the Summer tires break free pretty easily at low speeds with the low temps (32 F was the high for the day). Caz Lake behind me. Picture quality not that great for some reason. My wife took it with her Apple 11 pro phone. LOL!

I have been driving my C8 almost every weekend in northern Mass and southern New Hampshire. Roads are clear of salt and sand. I can't stand walking by it in my garage. It wants to be driven! Steering wheel heater is fantastic, too.

Go for it. Just take it easy on the throttle.

My garage usually stays in the mid 40’s. As long as the roads are relatively dry and salt free and at least 32 degrees, I will drive my Z with the summer tires for awhile locally. I take it easy as it’s only got 200 miles and still in beak-in using weather or tour mode. No problems so far with that.

Its true! Its my only car and I drive it every day no matter the weather. The deepest snow so far is abot 6 inches but there will be days with more. I'll post a video when it does.
