@c5racr1 have any installed pics? I so wanted to do some shiny coated headers and a new intake manifold on my coupe... I'm sure it looks amazing. Ended up selling and buying a convertible.

What lines are on the passenger side chassis bar that need to be insulated? Is it just evap/PCV?

Honestly those stockers look pretty darn good.
Agree, C8 needs a badass ITB / intake setup. that would MAKE the engine

It will be interesting to see if any long-term engine compartment heat related issues arise on headers without shields.

Default Heat

Have done a bunch of track days. Heat is about the same. Headers cool off way quicker so the total time spent in the real heat is much less.

I personally know several "Name Brand" after-market tuners (who post, and advertise on this site BTW).

They are good guys who work hard, know how to sell stuff, and make money, but if you think they are smarter than the engineers at GM, you're smoking it....

You can always craft an expensive custom suit for somebody who wants to spend the extra money, but that doesn't prove its "better'... it just proves it's "custom" and more expensive... and if that's what you want, then that's what you'll get...

There's a place for that. it's your money...
