Default Phone charging issue
Has anyone had an issue with the pocket charger not charging your phone...I have an iPhone 6s Plus and I have tried every way imaginable with the phone position and it will show green initially then it turns yellow...thoughts? Happens in case out of case same results

Are you sure that the iPhone 6s even has wireless charging? I thought that the iPhone 8 was the first to offer that...

Yes, and no. My wife has an iPhone 12 Max in a case. She has trouble from time to time, but it is better upside down. I have an X r in a heavier case and have less problems. Since I have a 2020, I now plug it in to have CarPlay. So I don’t really use it.


I will point my wife just got. 2020 Navigator and she has the same problem with it, inconsistent charging. So not exclusive to the Corvette, especially with cases.

The iPhone 6s Plus does not have built in wireless charging.

Right now, the iPhone models that support wireless charging are:
  • iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
  • iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.
  • iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

For whatever it's worth, after seeing your response I also just googled the question "what was the first iPhone to have wireless charging" and got the same response as everyone else, iPhone 8.

On EBay or Amazon you can purchase a plug-in which will convert your iPhone 6 Plus to allow wireless charging. Or perhaps it’s time to trade it in. I recently traded my 6 for an iPhone 12 Max and the camera improvement is amazing.

I agree. Recently picked up the 1Phone 12 Pro and the camera is spectacular.
