I haven't found one even selling AT msrp. Too much demand I guess. Maybe in a year or so when demand for them is filled.
That's not true. MacMulkin, and several other dealerships, will sell you one at MSRP. Patient folks taking delivery every day. I'm buying mine at MSRP from MacMulkin, just having to wait for it.
To the OP's question - most dealerships are still delivering to people who have waited over a year and the current lists at most dealerships are at least 3/4 to a year out, so it will be quite a while until you see dealerships selling below MSRP - even used ones with miles seem to be going for 15K over MSRP, on average.
I believe that every C8 built right now is sold and if you do find one at a dealer it's because the buyer opted out or was suckered out of the deal with a surprised ADM.
Most C8's are sold at MSRP. Since all of the ones being produced are sold orders, or dealers using them to gouge customers, we don't have excess yet to drive down prices. If you want the cheapest price, order now and that is about the cheapest you will get. If you want lower than MSRP you will need to wait another year or two under the market loses demand and cars are being built to sit on lots.
Took delivery in person at MacMulkin. Great Corvette team. Got mine at MSRP but paid less using my GM card dollars. No dealer fees and no sales tax OTD, as you pay sales tax to your state DMV when you register.

prob a dumb question but they give you a 20 day temp plate?
If you want to order one and wait 10 months or more, there are multiple dealers who will sell you one AT MSRP. If you want one today, you're going to pay anywhere from $10K to $30K OVER MSRP. Heck, even used ones are selling for over MSRP. The only way you'll find one at less than MSRP is if your father owns the dealership.
My local dealer has been marking them up exactly $40k! I went to look at this one Saturday, just to see it. They sold a yellow one $40k over to a Georgia couple while I was there. A CMC one prior to that. I’m not sure how they’re getting them brand new to sell, but crazy people pay it for some reason. That’s a lot of money to burn in a year!

No surprise at the asking and that people are paying...... Bowling Green is idle as we speak. The number of new unspoken cars will be few and far between for a long time.
If you can buy one AT msrp, that is the current market equivalent of below MSRP.
Honestly, that would be a steal, anyone with a brand new C8 can ask and reasonably expect a huge premium if they were to sell it. Its like the dealer paying you to take it, really doesnt make much sense. I completely understand why there are so many people willing to flip them too.
The reality is, the car is great. It has exceeded my expectation pretty significantly and these resales and dealer premiums are a direct result of the quality of the goods being sold. ; )
