Color Selection
Has anyone ordered or took delivery of Sebring Orange and is satisfied? I was really tempted but ordered CMG instead. Over the weekend I was next to a Sebring Orange and honestly was disappointed. Looked more like a pumpkin orange or the orange you see on Chargers.

I fell in love with Sebring orange when I first saw the press release... Never wavered through the order and delivery. 1000 miles later and I have zero regrets. Everyone who sees it is wowed. I know a lot of purists go with the more traditional colors, but this looks much closer to an exotic than a C7 for example and deserves an exotic color in my opinion.

saw it on the cover of a Chevrolet brochure and loved it as well.....like I said, came really close to ordering it myself. Maybe when I saw the one over the weekend I wasn't close enough....just riding along side.

I love the Sebring Orange on my C7 and I get tons of compliments on it. However I'm not crazy about Sebring orange on the C8. I'm going with Torch Red when I finally get called to put in my order at the dealership.

I can’t tell you how many times someone has come up to me and said “I never thought I would like an orange car but… “
Pics don’t do it justice and a good shine highlights the metallic look. It’s clearly personal preference but I didn’t want a “standard” color and orange is my favorite color so there you go.

Color is extremely personal. What one person thinks is terrible lots of other people will love. I won't criticize anyone else's choice, and hope they won't criticize mine.

What lighting conditions did you see it in? I agree, in some lighting, like an overcast day, it can look a bit flat and pumpkin like. But like most metallics, in bright sunshine it really pops. Looks great with carbon flash accents and wheels IMO.

It was overcast so maybe that's it.
