Just got the z-51 front splitter and need to raise the front to install. Should I jack up one side and place a jack stand underneath and then jack up the other side and repeat? Where is the best placement for the jack stands in the front?
I am not sure the best way to jack up but I do know there are specific places on the car to place Jack Pucks. You can find them in your owners manual and possibly the best way to lift the front end.

Thanks in advance
Putting Jack Stands on a C8 is a PIA AND requires safely removing bolts that hold the Aero panels so you can access a suitable frame member. That requires another approach to have the car safely lifted while you go under to removing them! When I received my September 2013 built C7 I made two ~7 inch high stanchions from a $10, 12 foot long 2X6 and some 3/4 plywood I had. Have used for 8 years. They are light, ~10 lbs each. If you don't have the skills to assemble you can have a 2x10 cut into sections, stack them and use as stanchions. You can also buy 10 inch high plastic stanchions.
When someone questioned the safety of my home made stanchions, for fun I calculated the safety factor. The minimum, assuming somewhat sloppy construction is 4.3. The bridge you go over every day is probably 3! Your choice BUT ~7 inches under the wheels was more than enough to easily install the splitter (and my AC Protective Mesh.)
Note, having raised the car to remove it required using a support when I installed the new one! It was the height needed when I installed my AC Protective Mesh!
I put mine up on JackPoint Jack stands when I installed my Z51 splitter and grill screens. A mirror might help for locating all the screws if you are installing it without lifting the car.
