Default Trident Black wheel Constraint?

is this wheel completely unavailable right now? If anyone ordered the wheels, are they just going to be waiting longer or is there a option to get them changed. i know there is 2 black options for wheels, and i know i got one of them. How do i find out if i ordered that particular wheel? I dont know if that is something to ask the concierge.

The black trident wheel is no longer available to order. The trident wheel option is 5DG and the price is $2,695.00 The 5 spoke carbon flash wheel is option Q8Q and is $995.00

I have a 21 HTC en route right now and it is supposed to have the black Trident wheels on it. The dealer and I currently do not know if the car has the wheels on it right now, but I was told I could ask for a credit if the vehicle doesn't have the wheels. For the $3k option I can find far better wheels.

If you can't get the Black Trident Wheels from GM, it appears 404 Parts.com has Black Tridents (set) for $2,600 and until February 21, 2021, they have free shipping.

The black 5 Spoke trident wheels was an option you can order that is a separate set of wheels in addition to the wheels you ordered on the car. The car is shipped with the wheels you ordered on the car most likely the standard wheels and the Tridents you ordered arrive in separate boxes which the dealer installs when the car arrives. I'm not sure if the tridents not being available right now would hold up shipment of the car though. You wouldn't think so being they are shipped separate.

I’m not much into custom wheels, but these are hot. I was looking at them the other day and I might order them when my C8 is delivered months from now.

The Black Trident Wheels are an accessory option which means your C8 is shipped with stock wheels installed from factory, the tridents are shipped to dealer and he swaps them out and you get to keep both sets of wheels.

Are these still on constraint? My dealer says they are. Short story is the dealer scratched and gouged my two front wheels when installing the set that came in for my 2021 C8 a few months ago. They promised to order a new pair but have been saying the wheels are still on constraint. The only thing I was able to find through searches is that the constraint was removed last March.

Just get the car... with anything; then, buy quality, fully-forged aftermarket and forget about it.

Yep you can order them now. They're overpriced for what they are though.

Go to your dealers parts department and order them, he just doesn't want to pay for the wheels he damaged. I know you had no choice, but the last place I will go for tires is a dealership. I know one dealer who damaged several sets of Black Tridents and started taking the C8's to a tire shop for the installation of the Tridents.

If you go to the Chevrolet website to "Owner Tab" under accessories for 2021 Corvette you can by the entire 5 spoke trident wheel package in Black or Pewter and have them shipped to your dealer with no shipping charges. And right now they have 20% off any accessories of $500 or more. Pick them up and bring them anywhere you choose to have them mounted. That's the way i ordered mine back in December and the deal then was 25% off I saved quite a bit. Here they are on my garage floor patiently waiting for my C8 to be built. I purchased the Pilot Sport all season tires and had them mounted on them.

I agree, the dealership is normally not my choice for tires. I have a good friend who owns a body shop who I usually have install my tires. In this case I just received a call from the dealer and they have my wheels so we'll see how the install goes this time. I have to say though, my dealings with the dealer in the past have been really exceptionally good. This is the 3rd Corvette I've ordered from them and I've purchased a few other vehicles and each time the treated me really well and gave me fair deals.
In fact I ordered my 2021 C8 on Sep 2nd 2020, didn't even have to put a deposit down and it came in on Dec 23, 2020. Besides the fact that I didn't even have to place a deposit I was shocked it came in so fast given how long others are waiting for theirs.
