Interior questions for clarification
1) Custom Interior Combination Adrenaline Red with Jet Black seats, Napa leather seating surfaces with perforated sueded microfiber inserts
and
2) Custom Interior Combination Jet Black with Adrenaline Red seats, Napa leather seating surfaces with perforated sueded microfiber inserts
1) is cheaper (do not care about that, just pointing out the differences) because it does NOT add two tone and red stitching. It also has the red center counsel, but it APPEARS to actually have the red stitching..... and you CANNOT add two tone seats.....
2) if you pick this you cannot have the red center counsel...... instead it almost looks like a grey suede counsel
is number 2 a grey suede?
PICKS OF THE 2 WOULD BE AMAZING!!!!!
Hmm, one question is can't have Napa leather seating with suede inserts. The ONLY Napa leather in a GT2 seat IS THE SEATING SURFACE. Even the bolsters are faux Mulan leather in the top of the line GT2 (& Competition) seats! Of interest, this is the 1st time to my knowledge GM defined that the bolsters were faux Mulan leather (see below.) It was speculated for the C7 by a GM engineer working on interiors (for other than the Corvette.) In fact the only real tanned animal hide leather in the C8 is that GT2 Napa seating surface.
This has been deceptive since the C7 (perhaps before.) BUT every time you see the word leather in GM literature or website and it DOES NOT SAY "Napa leather" it is bonded leather. Bonded leather is sold under various proprietary name in the furniture industry as Mulan is GM's name! Like the name Corintian Leather Chrysler's ad agency coined years ago! It is man made similar to vinyl BUT includes ground up real leather scraps as a filler not the cheaper calcium carbonate used as a filler in vinyl. If it contains ~20% leather scraps it's called leather in the US. In some countries that is not allowed!

maybe I am calling something suede when it is something different......... I see "leather" and I see something that appears like "suede"..... aka something other then flat/smooth "normal" leather
ah, pictures of the seats didn't open at first..... but my question isn't about the seats........ question is about the center

Sorry, did not mean to confuse the issue, just get frustrated with GM's deceptively clever worded statements about Mulan and Napa, when they make them! There is even a recent statement by a GM Manager that could be interpreted as more Napa leather is in the 3LT C8 BUT can also be (and probably more accurate) that it's just more leather! And when they use the word leather (without Napa, which is tanned animal hide) it refers to Mulan. They don't actually say Mulan is "bonded leather" but that was leaked during C7 production.
Been following this issue carefully since I had a 2014 3LT, then a 2017 Grand Sport 2LT and now a 3LT C8. I got the 3LT C8 because I wanted a dipped interior- so no choice. I like it very much and know I was paying a lot extra ($3150 over a 2LT with GT2 seats) for the color, Napa leather seating surface in my case and stitched suede headliner and "A" pillars! . Just don't like that they allude you’re getting more "real tanned leather" when it's only on the seating surface! It appears that is only if you don't get "Sueded microfiber inserts." Below is some more wording in brochures. Just cleaver wording. In fact prefer a Vinyl dash as in the C7 the 3LT apparently has a Mulan dash and a number of folks had it shrink and need to have it replaced. Shrinkage is a characteristic of "bonded leather" when exposed to heat and sun where Vinyl typically stretches.. There were no reports of shrinkage in 1LT and 2LT C7s. Frankly I could not tell the difference in my 2LT 2017 C7 Vinyl and my 3LT 2014 C7 Mulan dash. Both Mulan and Vinyl pass under embossing rolls in manufacture! They can be made smooth or more leather textured surface, whatever is specified.

option #1 has red leather in those areas.
I originally had planned #1, but switched to #2 with my Adrenaline Red HTC. Just wanted the red bolsters in the interior.
