I currently have a C7 coupe and am thinking of ordering a C8 coupe. I never have sat in a C8 and I'm wondering if the C8 door sill width is wider from the outermost part of the body to the edge of the seat than what the C7 is? My C7 is about 9" wide at that point. Any wider I would think would make it harder for a short person to get in and out without sitting on side bolster. Need some help.

I have not measured it but I think the sills are wider just from real world usage.

I've only ridden & driven a C7 once,. C8 does not seem to be a problem for the Women & Children I've let sit in my C8, getting in or out. I do show them the easy way too get in an out of a sports car. by showing them the way women with a mini skirt had to get in a car back in the Day..
Keep both legs together and "Fall Back" into seat. Then swing both legs in together. I never try to get into or out of a Sports Car one leg at a time. Now the 6-10 yr old kids do hit the seat's bolster, but the ladies don't.
Get out the same way. except because of my lack of Leg strength, I have to push myself up an out. .
