Is there a Chevy dealer in the Phoenix area that you have found that provides good, timely & honest service work? I've never had a new Corvette that I had to have serviced by a dealer. I've heard many horror stories of folks being screwed over when having difficulties with their C7's. Give me good news, please.😎
Preface with I haven’t picked my up yet so subject to change I suppose? But I ordered from AutoNation in Mesa, solely because when I called around back in August 2019, they were the only dealer in the valley that was open and upfront about their allocation numbers, my place in line, and only charging MSRP. Every other dealer (I called all of them with a 480 or 602 area code) was either playing hard to get with their numbers or charging over MSRP.
They’ve been great to work with so far, car was made last Wednesday and sitting in Toledo right now so we’ll see in a couple weeks. But let’s say this - I was allocation like, 29(? It’s been a while...) and so far there’s been no negative reviews I could find blasting them for charging more at pickup, so I’m fairly certain all will go well.
For service I’ve heard good things from a golf buddy with one as well. He uses them for everything since they opened and he’s not had issues.

They are Chevy dealers they all suck as they don't care about customer service and GM does not either. Never buy a car from Vans as they are lying scumbags. Their service is not the best but they got my car done and all updates completed and this time it only took them 4 work days and the car was there for 6 total days W-M.

I was at Vans Chevy about 3 weeks ago. They had several corvettes On the floor @ approx 129k. I didn’t tell them I had a car scheduled to be built 3/8. The sales guy told me they were just informed the Bowling Green plant will be closing for several more months. What a bunch of Lying scum bags.

I would not trust Van's to even check tire pressures on my car...
I set an appointment for service on my truck and they said they would have it done pronto....then they sat on it for 3 days without even touching it.
The Corvette sales people have several C8s on the floor, they will lead you to believe are new, but they are used cars they are flipping without factory warranty with a few miles on them.
They tell you the cars are loaded with every option, but when you ask specifics they can not produce a window sticker.
They are trying to get $40k (not a typo) over MSRP on those used cars. Salesman said they are not making any more 2021's and the new ones will cost $50,000 more...I called BS...
The factory warranties (3/36 & 5/60) stay with the car, not the 1st owner (unless they're salvage titles). Not taking up for shady dealers, but just correcting one bit of misinformation above.
Van sponsors our Corvette club and the feedback is far better than the stories above....they also sell more Corvettes than any others in the region but obviously all dealers have their critics- but there’s a reason they move units and have trained techs.

I'm glad to hear a positive report. Van's is very close to me and I was hoping they would be able to service my car. I'm not buying one from them.

Honestly I don’t know where to begin. I’ve known the folks at Sands Automotive Group in Glendale and Surprise, AZ for years. They are one of the largest and best dealers in the country. In fact I thought so highly of them that I bought my new 2020 Corvette C8 Stingray from them. Sands has never let me down, charged a fair price and have always been there when I needed help. Most likely any dealer could have some detractors but since you reached out I’m here to tell you that Sands is a dealer and service department you can depend on. Give them a try.
For 14 years I've serviced my C6, and 2 C7's, and soon to be C8 at Earnhardt (formerly Thorobred) in Chandler. They have been very good to me. I've had the same service advisor for 14 years which helps. I wouldn't buy a car at Earnhardt if you paid me. Their sales department is incompetent and unethical. I buy my Corvettes from MacMulkin, and Earnhardt has no issues servicing them.
I've heard nothing but horror stories about Van's and a few good stories about Autonation in Mesa. I've also heard that Midway and Autonation are the best 2 dealers to do courtesy deliveries. I'm still trying to get Earnhardt to accept my courtesy delivery when my C8 is built. Given my 14 year history with them I would think they'd be willing to do it. We shall see.
Good luck. PM me if you want more information on Earnhardt.

I can not disagree with much that has been said in this thread; spotty at best and maybe a lot worse in many cases; for sure on the Sales side. As far as Service; my direct experience recently was with my C7 and Tim Hodder at Van's took great care of me and my Vette for several years. Before I ordered my new C8 (from MM) I stopped in to make sure he was still there (that's how much confidence I have in him & no he is not a relative). He has now moved up to Service Mgr and that is who & where I will take my C8 (assuming I get an allocation projected for maybe May).
stay away from freeway chevy, i took my c6 there for a leaking water pump, when i got the car back, they drove 22 miles with no explanation what so ever.

If you ordered a car from Van's they are going to add about 3k worth of crap you would never buy and then tell you if you don't like find another dealer for your car you ordered from them a year ago. Oh and they will not sell you the car unless you finance it through their bank. Again if you don't like find a car somewhere else and they are doing you a favor selling you the car at sticker.
This thread is too long. Midway Chevrolet is excellent. Use them with confidence. I courtesy delivered my 2019 Z there from Macmulkin. My C-8 should get there next month. Talk to Bill West. He works in sales but is everything Corvette. He drove the C8 at Spring Mountain before it was released to the public. He let me sit in their only C-8 on the lot and went thru it with me in detail even though he knew I bought out of state. He even offered to get me into a spring mountain driving class without waiting. Stay AWAY from Van. They know nothing about Vettes and were incredibly rude to me when I wouldn't by a 2108 Z off their lot and bought from Macmulkin. They wanted MSRP -$1000 and Macmulkin was 12% off MSRP at the time. I told them the assembly line was shut down at the time because of the paint problem they had with 2018's. They didn't know anything about the retooling of the paint barn. Oscar in accesories at Midway installed my stage 2 aero, AFE intake and Corsa x pipe. He's going to install the side skirts on my C-8.

For my C6, I have had a good experience with the SERVICE department at Van's and will use them to service my new C8 purchased out of state.
I believe Vette Culture in Mesa is authorized to do warranty work but you must arrange your rides to drop off and pick up your Corvette.
Vette Culture closed down a little over a year ago. I've used AutoNation Chevrolet in Mesa for oil changes. Nothing major though, but will use them for warranty work.

Dont go to the one in Gilbert. Bought my C7 there and it had so many problems. I had it back there for service 6 times in 6 months. I finally took one of their loaner cars that they gave me and went to another dealership to look at buying a different one. I was told not to come back.
they screwed up the car and they told me not to come back!!!! They screwed it up by switching out the battery after letting the first one die. Apparently the battery switch needs some sort of reset for electronics. I could go on and on about my experience, but years later, you’ve finally given me a way to get back at them, so thank you!
