Default C8 Window Tint

Hey guys, my c8 will be arriving soon and wondering if I should go with 20% tint or 35%.

If any of ya'll have pics, I'd love to see.

Thanks!

Only my experience, but if you regularly drive at night, I would go with the 35%.

It's going to be my summer car and I'd take it out a few times a week. Do you have any pictures?

Is 20% legal where you are? Not many states allow under 35% on the front side windows and almost none allow 20%. Window Tint Laws By State - Learn The Updated 2021 Tint Laws

35% on mine:

Xpel Prime XR Plus. 99% UV rejection, 96-97% IR rejection. Multilayer ceramic nanoparticle technology.

Looks great! You actually aren't allowed any tint where I live but a lot of my friends have it done.

The ticket for it is very cheap as well..so I think it would be worth the look.

I agree. Plus I would check with your local LEOs and see what the state prescribes as the maximum tint percentage.

Looks great! Is the windshield tinted also, or is that factory?

I don't see where you live, but check state law. There are low-life places where I live that will install wall-paper if ya want, but it will get ya stopped and ticketed.

I am getting the side windows tinted so I don't have to eyeball every friggin' truck driver or mustang wanting to race.

The darker the better. 35% is the limit around me, but I've had 15% on every car I've ever had and most of my friends do also and have never been pulled over or ticketed. Most shops, even prominent ones are happy to do as dark as you want for cash and no receipt so you can't blame them if you do.

This looks great! I also have a red c8 and will probably go with 20% after seeing your car. Appreciate it!

Any other pictures that you can share, I'm trying to decide between 35% or 50% for the door windows on a Torch Red C8? Thanks.

For those guys tinting the windshield how does it affect the HUD? Does it make it clearer or less visible?
