Hmmm. Not sure. I have it on my 3LT. One way to find out, get out the trim tool and go for it!
The reason I asked is because the 1LT coupes don't have the camera mirror and don't have the mirror harness. But I wasn't sure if that was the connection you're talking about.
I velcro mine here and move it to my other car. I've been doing this for past 10 years and it works fine in this location, when I park I put a hat over it to hide it.
Dash mount. I need a better picture (old pic, tie is now trimmed), but it solves all problems: location, mirror, hanging, storage, wiring, security, .....Always your choice, but it works in all of my vehicles except for the Motorcycle.
It has a clear shot forward and to the rear. There are No obstructions due to centerline location and minimal height above dash clears fwd and rear height obstructions,...

As some else asked.. How do you run power and ... .. How do you keep it there? Velcro?
I love the hat idea. ..
In my present cars I mount to the visor with the wires run behind the molding. That way I can leave the detectors (one in each car [i hate having to move one from car to car] in place and no one sees them when parked. I then keep a hat in the car to use when I would normally need the visor. I don't like the idea of putting the detector where it can be seen when driving from behind, both because the police surely wouldn't give a break if they see one, and to stop other "scofflaws" from using ME to run interference for them. ..
I got pulled over in my Miata and got only a warning in part BECAUSE he didn't see the detector. .. ..
Wires hanging down or running up the windscreen are a dead giveaway too. .. That's why I like this installation, NO visible wiring, NOT visible from outside, and I already have the hat.

How is rear detection with this?Doesn’t look like the detector would have a clear view behind in this location.
I’m going to mount mine like C8J did above. Turns out you aren’t supposed to have anything mounted to the windshield in Texas, I hate to give them another reason to pull me over. I haven’t picked a detector yet, my old Escort Solo S2 has stopped working but I’m waiting to see how the Radenso Theia turns out. Escort Redline 360C is also a possibility. I have an HTC, but when I was going to order the coupe, I was going to mount it like this Ferrari owner did and use a “concealed display” like he did too. He posted it on rdforum. I was going to get power from the fuse box under the waterfall.

This is the escort 360c with arrows for front, side and rear , when a trooper is behind me i get a good signal way before I see him. What I like about this system is when I pass a trooper shooting radar the signal switches to the rear arrow and if there is a trooper ahead I then get a front arrow and detector tells me i have 2 hits 1 front 1 rear. I notice that they do this knowing people with detectors think their signal is the one they passed and usually speed up not realizing the type of trap they set

Yep the arrows are great. Had them on my R7. I now run the V1 Gen2. Was just curious about detection range from the rear without a clear line out the back. Mine is high on my windshield above my mirror and has a straight shot out the rear glass. The 360c is nice. We got it for my father in-law for Christmas after he got his first ticket in many years.

Ran the cord under trim then under dash , behind console to the accessory plug under passenger side
I bought a low profile plug and soldered the wires to it
There’s a lot of excellent radar detectors to choose from and each one has a sort of specialty, making it “best” for different people with different needs and budgets.

George vee, I mounted mine in the same location, but used a Scosche Magic Mount. This lets me adjust the detector to the exact angle and allows for quick removal to transfer detector to another vehicle. I wired it from the mirror, running the power cord along the top of the windshield an down the A-pillar.
