Does anyone have a guess as to when the C8 build website might be updated for the 2022? Is the 2021 build website of any use now that GM is not taking orders for that MY? I recently got on a list for a 2022 and sure would like to waste a lot of my time building and checking out any option/color changes.

 

Unlikely to happen before late June - later if 2020 production gets extended. However, there's a good chance that changes will be revealed at the NCM Bash - 4/22 to 4/24.

 

Build it anyway so that you are prepared, and print it. I used the 2020 website to build my 2021. Other than some new variations of the orange, dark gray, and bronze paint, the 2022 will probably be about the same.

 

We don’t even know when 2022 MY will begin or what the differences are yet. The site is usually the very last thing to get updated.

 

I've built the 2021 so many times on Chevrolet.com - knowing I will get a 2022 - that I have it memorized.

 

Thank you all for your thoughts. I’ve built so many on the website that I’ve also got it memorized. I think you are all correct, changes will probably be minimal. I’ve presently settled on Red Mist HTC, Z51, lift, Carbon Flash roof/stripes with carbon fiber interior accents, Spectra Gray Tridents, Black interior with red stitching and red and black seats. Hoping for wheel changes and interested in seeing the new gray color. The forum is such a great source of information, it will likely reveal any new changes quickly.

 

The text order guide will likely get updated well before the build and price tool, and this and other online forums will probably have photos of the new colors, options and prices before the order guide. 2021 order guide here:

I have it so memorized that a Chevy dealer should hire me to sell Corvettes. But I wouldn’t want to sell their other vehicles, lol.
