Default Interior Cleaning/Detail

So my C8 is my 2nd Vette and I plan on keeping this one longer so I’m really just checking that my previous methods that “worked” are best practices or if I need to update my techniques.

For the interior, mostly it gets dusty on the dash. I’ve historically used a damp microfiber towel and just wiped it clean. Is this the best or should I be going a step further with Adam’s leather cleaner and their conditioner?

I did notice the other day I have some blue Jean “rub off” onto the Sky Cool Gray” interior. I haven’t tried cleaning this with water yet, but assume I might need Adams leather cleaner here, where a damp microfiber cloth might not cut it.

All thoughts/advice are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Here is a tech bulletin from GM on how to maintain the interior and remove stains:
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...76647-9999.pdf

Summary: Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water for maintenance cleaning.
For stain removal and problem areas, use GM recommended stain remover and then GM recommended leather conditioner/restorer if necessary. However, I imagine that cleaners and conditioners from reputable companies are good.

It appears the recommended cleaners and conditioners are made by Crypton.

A horsehair brush attachment for your vacuum is the best way to keep the dash looking like new. Vacuum it every other week or so - only takes a few minutes - and the dash will look like new forever. A wet cloth will just grind the dust/dirt into the creases in the dash material.

This.
Good advice.
I also use a soft paint brush in areas the vac brush can't reach to dislodge dust.
These methods worked to keep my previous 2002 Z06 looking like new.

I just purchased a Swiffer duster to use on the interior per recommendation of a friend. It did a good job removing dust from the dash and did not leave any streaks or marks. Much easier than using a vacuum.
