This is encouraging. Considering that someone wants to buy my 2020 for 20K over sticker and I REALLY love the new Red Mist, I may be giving you guys a call. When do you start taking orders for 2022?
Thanks
If you want to get on our 2022 list, just fill out our Order form and we'll be in touch with more details:
So if I don't get a 2021 allocation do I automatically go to the head of the line for a 22?Dan
No, because there are already people on the 2022 list. The lists work by date of deposit received. Any 2021 orders that may not reach production will move to the 2022 list by the date their deposit was received.
I have no idea how the allocations work from year to year, but given the opportunity I believe MM could get to #1 .
The allocation system to me seems like it’s impossible for a dealership to move up in unless the dealers ahead of you screw up.
If #1 dealer gets more allocation, then they’ll end up selling more Corvettes because they have more allocation. It’s a self full filling prophecy unless #1 dealer really drops the ball.

OK thanks for the info. How many are on the 22 list ?
Another brilliant move by MM was to advertise on Newsmax to promote the C8. Probably the only cable news station with a positive rating and growing their audience daily
I’ve been buying and driving corvettes since 1967 My buying experience with macmulkin far surpassed anything in the past it couldn’t have been any easier

I like Newsmax, but I find their phone app confusing and not intuitive...

In other words, a "seniority system". First in, first out. Having spent my professional career flying for a major airline, pilots live and die with their seniority number.
In the end, the goal is to retire at #1. Very few reach that number.
To extrapolate the seniority info here, everyone who gets a new C8 will be number one!

So being #1 for 25 years, or whatever they brag about, is no big deal once you get to #1?

I don't necessarily like the term "seniority" as it can sometimes imply favoritism. I prefer "first come - first served".

Anyone that submitted a deposit for a 2022 after your date of 3/31/2021, will be behind you.

Happy for MacMulkin. One of the very few dealerships that not only charge MSRP, but also don't charge the silly and superfluous "doc fees" and other anti-consumer dealer fees that dealerships shadily slap on.
Dealerships like MacMulkin that are pro-consumer should be rewarded with more allocations than other dealers, and glad GM setup their allocation system this way.

Agreed. MacM is the “Gold Standard” for Corvette dealerships that others should be ranked against and almost certainly for any car they sell. Many, if not most dealers simply aren’t on the same planet when it comes to what makes a difference. Most have blinders on and no clue. I’m sure it pays back MacM in spades as it should. “Communication” and going the extra couple of feet with a “human touch” is all the difference when it comes to customer confidence.
If you ever had the opportunity to service your vette at MM you would see that their world class customer focus extends to the service department also. I would never buy a car from any dealership but Thompson Auto group dealerships. MM did XPEL on my C8 and there was one section that wasn't quite right. MM fixed it in 30 minutes, no BS, no slow roll, just got it done and made sure I was happy with it before I drove away. That's what world class is all all about. I really don't understand why they are not #1 in corvette sales yet.

We have purchased numerous Corvettes over the years but our purchase with MacMulkin has been our best. We fly out to Nashua tomorrow to pickup our car which is waiting on the second floor for us. The Corvette order tracking files that are updated weekly have been so helpful and not something that I have seen with any other dealership of any brand. Not sure how much sleep I will get tonight but definitely looking forward to tomorrow.
