Default Quick Question

My rapid blue HTC has been built this week and assigned a VIN. Sounds wonderful and is but now it is showing 4B00-bayed and says delivery is delayed. I'm assuming this is some type of quality check or something but not sure. Anyone with any prior experience and usually how long does this process generally take. Thanks

Has anyone had their cars held like this before? Been waiting forever and finally get her built then this. Oh well, first world problems I guess.

I wouldn't worry too much about it right now. There was recently another member who had the same status and then several days later it showed up at their dealer on the East Coast.

With you being so close to BG, I am guessing you are looking at a 1 to 2 day travel time from the time it leaves the plant. That is a lot better than the 30 days I am looking at via rail to the West Coast!

Yes I have experience with this. My C8 was built 4/9. On 4/10 it showed 4B00 Bayed with an estimated delivery date of 4/15. On the afternoon of 4/12, it still showed 4B00 Bayed but now DELAYED. Again on 4//13 the same. On the morning of 4/14 my dealer called me and told me it was being unloaded as we spoke. Apparently a truck with used cars and trucks swung by BG on the night of 4/13 and picked up 3 C8's to fill his load. Mine was the first stop the next morning. They are just waiting for a truck with a load vacancy. Hope this helps.

You two guys were correct. Got call from dealer and she is here. Picking her up this afternoon. Thanks so much for the input.
