Over the weekend wife and I went to see our friends on the Florida east coast - on Riveria Beach's Singer Island. They had just moved into their new home that they built on the same lot as their old home. I gotta say - the place is magnificent. I love his garage - a four car with a double wide lift.
The Vette was flawless on the trip. The seats are getting more broken in and thus more comfortable We were on SR70 most of the way which is a fairly heavily traveled two lane road. Passing was effortless. No need for full throttle, just press down and you're gone! Going in and out of AFM was seamless and I was able to average just under 29 mpg for the trip over and back - 335 miles. I love this car. Got a lot of waves, saw a couple of other C8s and many complements. I let my buddy drive it and he just loved the car ( he has a MB SL 500 and an SL 63 AMG)
