I do read my owner's manuals when I have questions about my cars. I've just got reservation deposits put down at three dealers to get a C8 - hopefully this fall. This forum has been a wealth of information. I appreciate your response.

The one thing most new owners do wrong is not push hard enough on the brake pedal. If you don't, it will only rev to something like 1,700 rpm. If you REALLY stand on the brake and floor the throttle, then it will go to 3,500 rpm and let off the brake and enjoy the ride.
