2 post lift
I'll chime in since I've been looking at them (but haven't purchased any so I can't provide real world experience).

They aren't cheap, especially if you're getting two.
They're OK for vehicles that don't need to be lifted very high. But I have a lifted 4X4 truck. Between the frame height and the amount of suspension drop I wouldn't be able to use them on my truck if I wanted to do suspension work (at least not without a lot of effort).
That's one of the reasons I prefer 2 post lifts.

When I had a lift installed, we excavated a 3’x3’x 2 foot area for the posts, tied rebar into the existing floor and used 4K psi concrete. Installed lift a month later.
yep I bought a cheap, 2 post, asymmetrical floor plate lift. Owned it for almost 10 years, and had to replace the power unit at 8 years. Overall, it works great.
