Might just need to be recalibrated.

Do you have a after market exhaust?

I had the check engine light on at delivery. They reset the light and it not come back on right away. I thought about not accepting the car but after a year and a half decided that I'd take my chances. After a few days, the light came back on. For my car, the code indicated a faulty O2 sensor. My dealership replace both the O2 sensor and the ECM. I now have 2,000 trouble free miles on the car.

Just got the car back. They just did a Download update...engine light not on anymore. The app also says everything is good. While I was there they noticed a detached HVAC drain hose and reattached. Said just to watch for any engine light in the future. They wanted to remove the bumper to check other things but I said no... I’ll keep an eye on on the warning light in future.
* QUESTION-Should I have let them remove bumper? Light went off ? What would you experienced Vette owners have done ??
Thanks!

No need to remove bumper. But next time of it happens let them dive deeper. Either way it wouldn’t of cost you anything but time at this point. Glad it got worked out.

Most likely a faulty exhaust valve. It’s common also. Not a big issue.

Any plans to go with after market exhaust? If so add these. Big hit. Completely eliminates those faults. Tell them Christopher send you if you do.
