I have the same issue. I'm thinking of seeing where the studs are in my wall and maybe knocking a hole in the wall to give me a couple of extra inches. At the moment, I have a cork pad on the wall to keep the door from being scratched up rubbing the wall.

This is my number one issue with my C8. Getting in and out in my single garage could literally be a comedy show if you watched me.

My solution is I am buying a house with a bigger garage. Theres no other way.

there’s a brick wall behind the carpet Which I use to protect the door edge. Opening the door It doesn’t make it to the first detent.

Default Seperate Garages

Thats why I took the basement garage. Wife has the main level garage for her Lexus and her golf cart. 😀

So far no fights between the two.
