I took off the cover to the rear View mirror. However, I cannot figure out how to unclip the harness? I have attached images. Any pointers or hints would be ap

Hmm, doesn't look like mine. Do you have a 1LT?
here is a pic of my 3LT, which is the same as a 2LT. Understand 1LT's are different.

Frankly, didn't disconnect my plugs, just taped in the rear. This is a detailed PDF lots of pics: http://netwelding.com/Radar_Detector_Power.pdf

From video. Top arrow is positive, bottom (harder to see) is ground.

Look at my PDF lots of pics of mine. As noted I did not disconnect the plug. No need you are tapping the back by inserting pins fom a Blendmount or equivalent wiring kit. Red positive is easy to see. Where the black ground goes not so easy. It’s the row below slighly to the left. Can check with sewing needles and a meter.

You do need to unclip the plug to access. Look at that video I provided theURL. Type carefully as cap letters make a difference!

Thank you. I didn’t undo the harness as well. I wired it up and tested. Everything works perfect.

I didn't have to remove the harness either just push the red and black pins into the appropriate socket
