Default 3 LT Question

What happens if you order a 3LT with the transparent top? You no longer receive the inside finish and stitching at the top. So does GM charge less?

No to charging less. You simply pay more for the transparent roof option.

you might just want to keep the standard 3lt roof and order the transparent roof option as an accessory. I am not sure how much of a cost there is.

the transparent roof has suede around it that matches the a pillar and I don't believe the 1&2 do. I was curious about this and didn't think about it until I was staring at my roof the other day.

Very good idea but adds plenty plus I’d have to store a second top or use up my trunk storage permanently. GraT idea tho!

well I see I have an answer thanks. Now I have to decide if the transparent top is more important than the 3LT without the completed finish. Lots of $$ to give GM for nothing

I had both tops on my C7. I'd put the body colored top on in the summer to keep it cooler inside and I liked the look of the body colored top better.
I stored whichever top I wasn't using under my bed.

There are two transparent roofs: Suede and Fabric. The suede is only available in black, which doesn't match my 3LT grey headliner but it works with my interior.

Your going to have people debate, argue over both the 2LT and the 3LT. Myself if your a little tight with the total price then go ahead and go with the 2LT. Or even the 1LT. If you have the extra money in my opinion 3LT would definitely be the way to go.
