I would say, if they way someone parks really gets you that upset, you have a pretty good life, if such trivial things you can afford attention to.
If there are truly no spots left, call the local towing company, I'm sure they'd love the business. But keying someone's car is about as cowardly as you can be.

I have a pretty good life, but these things bothered me even when life wasn’t so good. Entitlement is no better than vandalism.

Wow, unbelievable. Wishing that the car gets keyed is just wrong, the same as the guy’s parking job. He should not park like that, but I sure as heck don’t want to see his car get damaged. A note under the wipers may get the point across.

A real man would leave a note if something like this bothered him so much. A passive beta boy just wishes that somebody else would key the car.

I don’t know that guy so I don’t care what happens to his car.
I have been driving mine since I got it last Thursday. Took it to a food hall and Home Depot both with busy lots. Both places two individuals talked about the car and how much they admired it and both the times they ended with "You gotta be nervous to park it, better move it to the end of the lot"
I just said "This spot is good enough and if there was one closer to the building I'd park there" and they were flabbergasted. I added "If I start being OCD about where to park my car, then I will just stop buying cars in general"
My general rules and I am not tied to them....
1) Park as evenly and straight as possible within the spot.
2) In a lot, see if there is one next to a curb/wall. Reduces half the risk that way.
3) Or parallel park it.
If neither 2 or 3 are available, I just park where a space is available and not be an a-hole about it.

Maybe it was the guy's (or gal's) first Corvette. "Wow. I never knew how big these doors are. If I park in one of those small spaces, I'll never be able to get out of the car. I'll need two."
Or not.
In my experience, confronting people that park like that is an exercise in futility. They park like that because they think they're better, and deserve to. They will respond to any confrontation with that same attitude.
Seriously, does anyone have a story of confronting this kind of parker that ended with them actually being civil and understanding of their own dickish behavior? I'd be interested to hear them.
Also, keying a car, any car, that is parked like that is not from envy. That action stems from frustration and anger over someone else's entitled behavior. I'm not saying it's okay. I'm just saying it's mislabeling to say that it is envy.
Anyone keying a car parked like that is from a disturbed mind , not any normal emotion at all.

Keying a correctly parked car is from a disturbed mind. A keyed car that’s parked like an entitled jackass is a 100% expected reaction, not saying I would do it, but 100% understandable if it was done, and I’d even be rooting for the vandal in this case,

Sure is sad to see people champion vandalizing cars just because they don't like how its parked.
Why not be just be like the other low lifes and wait and kill the motherf**ker instead, the car did nothing wrong
People just need to take a breath and move on with their lives, I know I would have said a few choice words when walking past this parking example but would not think of any other retaliation, there are way too many things to worry about in life than this

Calm down there gangsta!
But seriously the reason this guy parks like this is because nothing has ever happened to him for doing it. He must not have ever lived in a neighborhood where parking etiquette is “strictly enforced”.
I would have registered a quick "what a douche" thought as I walked by, but I don't have time to worry about what everyone else is doing in the world. A lot of folks overly worried about everyone else these days.

That’s the problem with society. You only worry about yourself. Meanwhile some poor vandal has to do the “lord’s work” promoting proper social etiquette for the greater good at great legal risk to themselves while you just carry on with your selfishness.
