Floating wheel caps?
I have googled and searched this forum all day and now either no one really has never talked about this before or I am just inept.
Is there a vendor selling floating wheel caps for the C8? Do I need to call a wheel shop to custom make these?

I had to google this to see what they are. I've not seen anyone advertise them for the C8.

If you want that, buy a Rolls Royce.

I manufacturered custom wheels in the 80's and 90's for some of the top builders, floating center caps were the rage, the last ones we made were 2003, and they may have been on Shaq's Escalade, that's the last time I saw them

Isn't technology amazing?
I find it hard to believe that something so small could actually keep the car afloat!

I did not see any for the Corvette in a quick search, but I doubt I would spend the money to have them on my car.

Not my thing, but the caps are small and I doubt they're even noticeable.

... I wondered if floating wheel caps were to keep the C8 afloat.
At a breakfast place I go to, one fellow drives is RR Vert some of the time and his Lambo Urus other times.

No, that's just not right. You'd no longer have the base of the Corvette crossed flags emblem pointed at the valve stems.
