Default hre vs forgeline, comments?

I'm trying to decide between the two sets of wheels above. Any first hand experience with either one? Quality issues/comments/pics?
Hopefully ELB HTC heading my way in September.
Thx.

No experience, but I really like the HRE F11s in Liquid Metal. Some great photo examples on the web. Just saw this one a couple of days ago.

to me, wheels on any 4 wheel vehicle should be 5 spoke, so for me, it's the FF11, and I think the liquid metal is just a fantastic finish. Those wheels will be going on my c8 when I get it (hopefully) in July. I have always been an HRE fan.

They are both good wheels, but my preference is Forgeline. I had the VX1's on my C7 and now the F01's Black Ice on my C8 (ELB). Outstanding quality and look but you can't go wrong with either.

I vote the Forgelines, I genuinely think they look better, and secondly I've seen way more cars out there with those same HRE's.

I go with fully-forged every time... no "flow-formed," "spin-forged," or whatever, no matter who the manufacturer.

HRE all the way.....been riding on them for nearly two decades and never an issue with fit, finish, and most importantly, looks.

Both make great wheels. Fs01's are a new design and different. Other manufacturers have similar designs to HRE, seems to be a common wheel that IMO almost is getting dated (still really like the look). Went through the same dilemma and at the of the day decided I like the fs01 better vrs buying the "safe" design. New body style deserves a new modern wheel. The thin wide spoke really give them a great look and fit/finish is great. After seeing/having them couldn't be happier.

No experience with either one, bust just based on looks alone, I like the HRE FF11s the best.

I had HRE for years, the last 7 years it's been Forgeline, both very good, HRE slightly more expensive, Forgeline easier to work with and offered more choices of finishes,

For the OP's consideration: You can get true fully forged monoblock wheels from Aerolarri for LESS money than these flow-forged wheels.

You deal directly with the owner, Chet, and he is very fast and through in his replies to either email, text or chat on his website.

Unlimited finish/color choices and custom widths and offsets, or just select the C8 "easy buy" option as he already set the offsets right for the C8. And our OEM center caps fit too.

Wheels do take about 7 weeks to receive them. Here is their "Thresher" wheel, which is what I went with. I think it looks great on the C8

I have the Forgeline F01s in black ice and love them. No issues and I get a lot of compliments on the looks.

Also interested in some information about these brands (or other high quality forged wheels).

Not interested in the Chinese wheels posted above.

It’s a matter of personal preference, really. Personally, I prefer HRE. They’re arguably the best consumer wheel brand. Lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship AND they also warranty the finish. All of their forged, two-piece, and three-piece wheels are made and finished in the USA, in Vista, CA. Their Flow Form wheels are made in Japan under strict specifications and guidelines by HRE regarding materials, manufacturing process, QC, and finish materials and quality. You can’t go wrong with any HRE branded wheels.

Forgeline is probably a close second. I don’t know about their warranty(s), but they do make excellent quality consumer wheels.

Does anyone know what the street load rating is on the flow formed HRE's. No supplier I contacted could tell me what the rating was. I have heard that stock wheels are around 600/700 lbs and forgeline forged wheels around 1600/1700 and the Flow formed are 1500 lbs. Just curious.
