A plumber, and electrician, a millwright and Bill Gates are riding in a car.. .. The car starts to miss and stumble. The plumber says "I think the carburetor is not getting fuel... I think it's the check the fuel lines...The electrician says " I think it's the coil. .. they they get hot and the spark starts going wonky".. .. the millwright says. "Sounds to me like one of the valves is sticking.. We'll probably have to pull the heads".. Bill Gates says.... "I think we should pull over and stop, get out, then get back in. When we restart it everything should be fine"

Yep computers do the same! Have to disconnect power and when restarted back to normal! Probably the same issue. Had to reboot and get past that glitch stopping it's normal program loading sequence!

Yep have always said it's amazing with all the workarounds I have to use with MS products and problems with many of their "free" updates that Bill was one of the richest men in the World! (He's slipped and with having to split 1/2 with is current wife - further!)

Early on, Bill Gates said “256 meg should be more than enough” or some like that.

I had a thread about that issue. Just turning your car off doesn't help, because the system is still ON. You should see the center console still kinda bright even after you get our of your car and lock the door. My thread was to ask if there is a way to immediately shut everything off or not, but didn't get answers. All I know as of now when you get that issue is that, you get out from your car and lock the door and wait for 5 to 6 min until the center console totally goes off. Then you go into car and try again. That process is helping for my case 100% of time.

Yep, my dealer Tech waited 10 minutes last week after connecting the OBD port to GM via his laptop and downloading the software update (I had tried ~10 times and it would not load. Was there for something else so had him try.) He said the ~10 minutes it's required before checking to see if the software upgrade took. Has had similar issues with some Silverados.

The Corvette electrical systems takes about 10 minutes to shut down all power as a battery protection measure- C7 was similar. Recall someone thought their Frunk light stayed on. But easy to check. Open Frunk or Trunk and watch the light turn off in time. There is apparently a sequence of what turns off when.
