I have the covercraft sunshade. Fits pretty tight so the coverage is good. My C6 sunshade from them lasted years and went with the car to the new owner.
I have the below for my Jeeps and they work/stow nicely, plus it's tough to beat the price ($9.99). In the Corvette, I have the windshield tinted with Llumar Air80 clear ceramic film.
An important thing to consider is where you are going to store in when not in use. I've been using a roll-up shade that I put behind the seat but it is a little bit of a PITA to store and remove. The one in the link folds to about one foot in diameter.
Most C8 owners vote with their wallet. Which is why the Cover Craft shade is popular. It does nothing that a ten buck twist to store doesn't do save cost 10X as much. If you use it daily, it will last a year maybe less. For a garage queen summer car probably not a worry. But then who sees it to be impressed? Use it a lot, it falls apart from repeated unfolding/folding in short order. Daily use and our intense desert sun, the one we bought for our C6 didn't make its anniversary date. A cheapie silver fabric shade from amazon et al will last far longer doing the same humble task. Though the neighbors won't be as impressed. And that's important to you right?
