In the Dallas Texas they are. I'm seeing a drop in prices But none at the Chevy dealers. But I also see some dealers who have had thier C8's on the lot for more than 4 months or more. Most are used Corvettes. Corvette World has been going down but has been moving their cars.

I have a deposit on Z06, but WILL NOT pay over MSRP.... I'm not going to here until 202X waiting for a car..... just bought a used Cayman S, and drive/track that all summer.... sell my C7 now, while the market is hot.... put the cash in the bank, and when the Z06 is announced, I'm ready to buy.... if I don't like it, I'll flip it, and buy a Stingray once the prices get realistic....

I love the car but for me this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Don’t need the money but a 33% return sitting on a mass produced car for 6 months....there will be another.
playing the game the right way. Although I wouldn't get too greedy. $20K profit isn't anything to sneeze at. I'll likely be receiving my car in late August/early September and I'm considering the same thing. Might just sell it and cash in on the demand. Can always buy another Corvette, but can't always make 20% return on a LIABILITY.

Had the car for 1 month and 2 weeks and yesterday a dealer offered me $95k for my 2021 1LT coupe. Values are still strong where I'm located (east coast). And if you're wondering...I accepted the offer lol.

Very comfortable, decent gas mileage, and heck it's even not bad in the snow with the all-seasons.
That’s because Ford put the tiniest gas tank they could find in the Mustang. Designed to give a decent range for the Ecoboost, but keeps the same tank for a 760 hp beast. I had the regular GT and that thing couldn’t pass a gas station.

Wow, that's crazy. Nice profit for you, even after enjoying the car for 6 months and 4500 miles!!

Cars by their nature are “upside down” investments, with a few exceptions. I sold my all-original 1973 Porsche for a hefty premium, but that was somewhat the exception. OLD cars in GREAT shape can command quite a premium, but you have to put the time, effort, and care into them. Corvettes are fabulous cars, and for the money may be the best performance car around. C7’s have had an uptick in resale, but I suspect long term a really nicely kept up original C7 or C7 Z06 will bring in a nice premium too. That’s because it may be the optimum front-engined rear-wheel-drive sports car out there.

OTOH, look at split-windows. They are rare, and a nice one even rarer. Yet their price has not matched the Porsche. No good reason except perception. That will change over time, but you have to have the time and be willing to wait while keeping it pristine. I suspect in the long run early C8’s will not fare as well as a C7 Z06, but that’s my personal opinion - and you all know what that’s worth.

The GT 500 mark ups are downright crazy.
