I had originally wanted the Natural interior, but as soon as my wife saw "Natural", in person, she reeled back in horror and exclaimed, I am NOT sitting on "orange" seats. We are now waiting on RM with the all black interior. I ordered 2LT, so I will by dyeing the stitching red myself...
Personally, I’m leaning towards two tone adrenaline red w/black inserts unfortunately with a red mist exterior you have to pay the “color override” penalty of $590.00 on top of the $395 two tone seat charge that means it would be $950 for red/black seats when you add the red mist premium charge of $995 the total cost of the entire color combo is $1980. That is a big number.
I ordered the Natural Dipped interior however good polarized sunglasses and black floor mat are a prerecquisite. Since all Corvette leather is clad with a thin plastic film the dye transfer issue should be easy to handle with just mild soap( Woolite ) and water Would be interesting to hear how many would have ordered Natural Dipped however didn't want to pay the upcharge ($ 5000) to get the 3LT package ??
I really like the black with red stitching but can’t justify the cost of the 3LT interior to get the red stitching. I think the Tan (NOT dipped) interior is a close second and very classic, dare I say, Ferrari look.
Black interior is perfect for me. Love it. Others wanted me to go into epileptic seizure (no offense intended). The sun was out making these look lighter, almost grey. It’s pretty misleading. They are indeed black…and look great day or night.
