Default ELB HTC Scale Model

I've bought a number of items from Magellan Models over the years, and all the stuff they sell is first-rate, but not cheap.

Yes, very pricy. I just went to 3000 on my ELB HTC so I'll wait for the real thing!

Nice looking model and yes, expensive. Kind of surprised they do not have any opening doors and hatch, but it is what it is.

Resin models have much finer detail features than diecast.

Correct, the more detailed models are usually resin or mahogany and don't have operable features like opening doors for the sake of accuracy. Those features are for toys, not museum quality displays.

Below are a couple of others I purchased from Magellan that have personal/professional significance for me. These two are mahogany.

I was involved with all the NW fleets and left pre-Delta merger. This was the only high-quality model I've been able to find in the "Bowling Shoe" livery other than B-727 and MD-80. I'd love to find a -400.

A search of the site shows the C8R, Elkhart Lake Blue and Torch Red. No Red Mist or other colors.

Impressive Saturn there Foosh.

Speaking of resin models, remember being surprised when I bought my first one how much heavier it was than previous die-cast.
