You shouldn't have to "hang around" for an instructor... I've been a certified PCA instructor for 25 years, and when you sign up for a PCA event, you are assigned a nationally certified instructor for the whole weekend... and they will ride with you and only sign you off if you are capable of driving on your own.
I have instructed with some very flimsy, fly-by-night" organizations... some spelled with F*rr*ari... and others... sounds shaky to me, but have fun

I've done TrackDaze several times and they are definitely not shaky. When you register you can sign up for an instructor and they will assign one. At Summit one time I had one that had 100's of hours seat time on that specific Summit Main circuit alone. TrackDaze is a good, down to earth group. I've done PCA and Audi club too. PCA for sure runs a solid program. Can't go wrong with those.
