Default Tutorial request for removing upper control are bolts

I wanted to swap the upper control arm spacers for the track alignment but as I was backing out the upper control are bolts it seemed like there was a lot of tension on the bolts/control arm? Are you supposed to but some jack lift pressure under the lower control arm before removing the bolts? Anyone got a video of how to remove the bolts safely? Thanks

Yeah, there's a big spring that supports the weight of the car. It's good you stopped before you got killed.

Put a jack under the lower control arm, usually under the lower ball joint is a good place.
