I realize we’re probably 3-4 weeks out but I would really like to know when people start getting allocation for a 2022. Please let me know when you get allocation on your ‘22.
Information about the first allocations will be released July 23rd and allocated orders will be accepted the following week. This what I heard and I’m sure this info can change at anytime.

Source? Not challenging you personally, just wondering if this is established fact or supposition/rumor.
With that news, I am going to make some calls on the 22nd to the local dealers I’m working with as a gentle reminder that I’m here. No need to do the same with MM given how transparent and fair is their process….

Interested to see what you found out when you called around… did these dealerships get some allocation?
My dealer out here in Ca got theirs last week AND MINE is #1 on their list 😱😱😁😁
He must have submitted your order then. He had till Saturday and you should now be at status 2000 and soon to be at 3000. Did you get your order number from him?
It feels good doesn't it?
I also have my order number and I'm at status 2000 and from what I understand should go to 3000 before the end of the week or sooner. Hopefully our cars will be built by the end of September as long as there are no more delays or plant closures.

yes it does! Especially since my 17 GS sold a LOT FASTER THAN I EXPECTED 😱. My wife sold her 16 back in March because of physical issues so we've gone the whole summer with out a Corvette for the first time in a LONG TIME! The 2022 will be Corvette # 17 for us!

I got a new order number along with a copy of the order they wanted me to verify everything was correct, but he never told me I got allocation. He just told me he would let me know when my order moved...
Does anyone have a guess as to how many allocations where awarded in this first round? From what has been reported by the larger dealers, they got less than anticipated. It would be nice to know for someone who got an order picked up (me , if there were less than a thousand. You could be pretty confident that your car would be built in the first week or two of production.

Only one of them did and it went to another customer who had asked first. It is a dealer who has become a Corvette dealer this year for the first time, and the other customer has bought trucks from them for years. I am told I’m next…we will see, meanwhile I’m burning no bridges…
I don’t blame you there. I’m a little confused, he just recently asked to get a Corvette and immediately got allocation? From what I understand it’s common practice to move good repeat customers to the front of the line when you first start taking orders on a car like this. But the dealer I talked to about it said they did this for the first few weeks then everyone got put in line. I should have started this process at a couple dealerships. I was up to number four to get allocation in April, then somehow I got moved back to number twenty three...

I was at 10 was moved to 75. The reason is they had to move some from 2021 to 2022. They had put in their order before me.

That I understand. This didn’t have anything to do with the transition from ‘21 to ‘22. It’s a long story. Bottom line this dealership has jerked me around since day one.
